Configurator for balcony railings
With decades of experience, the synthetic material retailer Rexin specialises in individual products for home and garden. These can be combined according to your own ideas. For an even simpler combination, redPlant has already created 3D configurators for terrace roofings and porches in cooperation with Rexin. Another addition is the 3D configurator for balcony railings: REXOguard!
Everything is possible
REXOguard offers the individual design of your exclusive balcony railing. Choose between different designs, fasten your railing with top or attachment brackets and define the size down to the millimeter. Adjust the balcony railing to your own style by picking the right colour and filling – choosing from balcony boards, safety glass and colourful Trespa panels.
Relocated
Compared to the previous Rexin configurators, a lot has changed in the environment. Thanks to Equirectangular Mapping, the house now shines in a wide, idyllic landscape instead of the nearby neighbourhood. Modern furnishings and a cosy garden lounge complete the picture.
Environment off - Spot on!
No matter how nice it is already to be able to view your product in a harmonious environment, for planning it is sometimes also necessary to focus on the essentials. This new feature integrated in 2021 extends the configurator and offers the option to hide the entire scene. For the perfect viewing angle of the product, a free 360 degree rotation around the product is enabled in contrast to the display with surrounding scene.
A new look
In addition to changing the environment, the UI design was also revised and optimized. It now got a brighter theme, which is more in keeping with Rexin's corporate design. It provides a better overview and a more pleasant reading flow. The older Rexin configurators will soon also benefit from the new design of the user interface.
Consulting made easy
Questions about the desired balcony railing? Thanks to the unique ID, both you and your consultant can access the configuration at the same time and download the appropriate data sheet with all information such as item list, prices and pictures. Nothing stands in the way of an individual consulting – no matter where you are!
Change of scenery
No matter how inviting the virtual 3D environment is designed, it cannot replace your own house and garden. From now on, however, you can easily imagine the configured product in your own home environment. Because in 2021 the feature to replace the 3D environment by a background photo was integrated in all 3D configurators. Simply upload a photo, align the size and perspective of the product in front of it and you're done.
Always up to date
All changes you make to your balcony railing are displayed in real time. You will always be shown the current total price, as the item list is dynamically updated with each change. Thus, you not only get full price transparency but always a current data sheet, too.
Taking advantage of the good weather
Why not configure the railing on the balcony? In bright sunshine or directly while measuring. Thanks to the Responsive Design, you can configure your balcony railing anytime and anywhere with your smartphone, tablet or PC.
Addition to the family
Rexin offers its customers more and more products to configure. For a quick change, the configurator has an overview page that presents all Rexin configurators. With just a few clicks, you can easily switch from balcony railing to porch or terrace roofing. With this, Rexin enables its customers to configure their products to suit each other.

If you are satisfied with your balcony railing, you can transfer it directly to the shopping cart of the Rexin online shop and purchase it using the standard online payment systems. The direct interface to the Shopware shop system makes it possible!
Precise to the millimeter
Rexin employees are able to access the balcony railing design drawing at any time through an internal mode. The dimensions are generated for all perspectives and displayed accurately using orthographic rendering. These can then be downloaded as PDF.
